Derek Pola has an outstanding reputation in the television industry. He has been Executive Producer for numerous international television programmes.
He is a founding director of Theatre Red which was established in Singapore in February 2003 as a fully integrated television production, television distribution and interactive services company. Their programs are viewed by millions of households across the Asian region on free-to-air, satellite and cable television networks. Programs distributed by Theatre Red are seen from Africa to the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Asia and island nations in the Pacific.
Derek was ABC Managing Editor, News and Current Affairs – ABC Asia Pacific Television. When he was General Manager, Asia – for the Becker Group Ltd, based in Singapore, he was responsible for producing television programs throughout Asia and the Southern Hemisphere, distributing them throughout the world. The company also made and distributed movies.
As an Executive Producer at ABC Television, he developed and produced numerous programmes including: The Investigators, Holiday, For Love or Money, Ten Days of Glory, Australian Heroes, and Couchman. Derek’s background experience also includes being Chief of Staff for ABC Television News and a Documentary Producer for Channel 10, Australia.
In January 2008, he was appointed College Director of North Sydney College of TAFE ( Technical and Further Education) in Australia.
Wolfgang Welti is based in Paris. He has a wealth of experience in the international Tourism and Hospitality industry. Currently, he is Human Resource Vice President, Sodexo International Corporation, for Global Information Systems and Technology.
He was previously the Deputy General Manager, Hotel Martinez Concorde, in Cannes. This diverse role found him involved with the major festivals and tourism, in the South of France.
Living for some time in the States, he was the Assistant Manager of the Regency Hotel, New York City, and as well with Walt Disney World, Florida, as Finance Assistant Supervisor. He returned to Paris to work with Euro Disney SCA were he held various including Finance and Human Resources.
Wolfgang also worked with the French retail group: Marc Laurent SA, Celio as Human Resources Director. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Business Administration at Strasbourg University, specialising in Hotel management.
